Terms & Conditions of Purchase

1.0      Shipping Times

The product description and the shipping options at checkout will indicate the standard shipping period for each product. The number of days must be added to the date of purchase to estimate the date of receipt. Business days exclude Saturdays, Sundays and Provincial and Federal statutory holidays

1.1    Shipping Times for Zephyr®, Argo®, Brady®, ZenTouch®, Fairlane®, Caribbean®, Roma®, Balboa®, Del ray®, Newport®, Santana®, Montclair®,  Supreme®, Carlyle®, Galaxy®, Gibraltar®, Stratomaster air®, Coronado®, SpaMaster®, Phoenix®, Outsunny®, HomCom®, Soozier®, Qaba®, PawHut®, Vinsetto®, Kleankin®, Costway® & Durhand® products: Standard delivery time for all of Canada is 7-12 Business Days.

1.2    Shipping Times for MaxAp®, SuperMax®, OnePush®, UltraMax®, Weekender Elite®, Expedition®, Sycamore®, HD Series®, Cypress®, Shade Tech®, Marketplace®, Quik Shade®, Solo Steel®, Shelterlogic® products: Standard delivery time for all of Canada is 14-21 Business Days.

1.3    Order processing: The processing of orders may be delayed if the name or address on the order is incorrect or incomplete.

1.4    PO Box, Site number or Mail-Box numbers:  Betel Canada will not ship to addresses containing PO Box, Site number or Mail-Box number. A physical address without a PO Box, Site number or Mail-Box number must be provided at the time of placing the order.

2.0       Shipping & Delivery

Orders placed at www.betel.ca may be shipped directly from the suppliers warehouse facilities via FedEx®, UPS®, Canpar® or any other registered Canadian freight carrier and shipments do not generally require the recipient's signature. Shipments that do not require a signature can be left in a safe place at the driver's discretion. This could include the front porch, side door, back porch, or garage area. Betel Canada does not ship to addresses containing PO Boxes.

2.1     Tracking Number: The order will be updated with a tracking number when a shipping reference is received. The buyer must track the package using the updated tracking number.

2.2     Package re-routing: Once a product leaves the warehouse it is considered the property of the buyer. Therefore, any return or re-routing request may incur additional costs.

2.3    Undelivered items: In the unusual event the buyer cannot locate the delivered package within 2 business days of delivery, the seller must be notified immediately to initiate a trace process. Shipping investigations are not accepted after 30 days as tracking information purge.

 2.4    Large freight deliveries: For large freight deliveries that require the buyer's signature, the buyer or an authorized representative must be available to accept the product. An agent will contact the buyer to schedule the delivery and the buyer will be responsible for all shipping charges if the shipment is not accepted.

3.0        Shipping Delays

The impact of COVID-19 is causing local, provincial, and national governments around Canada to issue warnings pertaining to travel and transportation and that has impacted the ability to meet published delivery time for some areas. As a result, Betel Canada and its associates have suspended all time-guarantees for all shipments for all regions effective immediately, until further notice. While most shipments will reach the intended destination   within the published delivery time, it is likely that some shipments may get delayed by up to 5 business days due to extraordinary circumstances.

4.0       Payment & Delivery

4.1   Betel Canada accepts most credit cards via (Shopify® payments) and (PayPal®) as payment for purchases made at this online store. The approximate delivery time is noted at the bottom of each listing. For PayPal® payments, the processing begins when the payment has been approved by PayPal®.

4.2    All fulfilled orders must be paid in full. If a payment is paid but is later withheld by the buyer or the buyer's bank for any reason, Betel Canada reserves the right to collect all dues including cost of goods and services, transportation costs, costs of collection and legal fees from the purchaser or the recipient of the product. 

5.0       Order Cancellation Policy

Betel Canada transmits all orders to the warehouse immediately upon order confirmation (excluding Easter Monday, New Year's Eve and statutory holidays) subject to payment approval. All orders received by the warehouse will start to process immediately upon receipt of a confirmed order. Therefore, a confirmed order with an assigned order number can not be cancelled or recalled. 

6.0       Initial Quality Guarantee

Betel Canada guarantees that all products sold on www.betel.ca are brand new and they are delivered defect and damage-free. Buyer must inspect all items immediately upon receipt and notify Betel Canada within 48 hours in the unlikely event that the buyer receives an item damaged in transit or is defective. The buyer must respond to the original order confirmation email for instructions on how to submit a claim.

7.0          Limited Warranty

Unless otherwise stated in the product description, all products sold on Betel.ca are offered with a limited 30 day warranty backed by Betel Canada. Some items are offered with a limited manufacturer's warranty that ranges from 90 days to 3 years depending on the product and its manufacturer. Refer to the product page for more information on product warranty, conditions and exclusions.

7.1       90 Day Limited Manufacturer's Warranty (Applies to Outsunny®, HomCom®, Soozier®, Qaba®, PawHut®, Vinsetto®, Kleankin®,Costway® & Durhand® products): Products offered with a 90 day limited manufacturer's warranty covers any defects in material or workmanship in new products sold on www.betel.ca provided the product description  explicitly offers a 90 day limited manufacturer's warranty.

7.1.1    Warranty Conditions: This limited warranty applies to Outsunny®, HomCom®, Soozier®, Qaba®, PawHut®, Vinsetto®, Kleankin®, Costway® & Durhand®  products purchased from Betel.ca. The manufacturer reserves the right to repair, replace, refund or provide replacement or parts subject to warranty coverage, exclusions and availability as considered on a case by case basis. This warranty covers any defects in material or workmanship in all-new Outsunny®, HomCom®, Soozier®, Qaba®, PawHut®, Vinsetto®, Kleankin®, Costway® & Durhand® products (as covered by this warranty). Unless otherwise stated, all products have a 90 days warranty that begins on the date of purchase. Refer to Betel Return Policy for details on return options during the warranty period.

7.1.2      Up to 30 days from the date of purchase: If the product received is defective or damaged, at the manufacturer's discretion will provide a pre-paid return shipping label for the defective product to be shipped back to the manufacturer's warehouse or will arrange to have the missing or damaged parts shipped to the buyer within 21 business days.

7.1.3      After 30 days of purchase: All extended manufacturer warranty claims the buyer must contact the manufacturer directly. The buyer must respond to the original order confirmation email to obtain a claim reference.

7.1.4      Warranty Exclusions:

  1. The warranty explicitly excludes zippers, bungee ties, buttons, and  velcro strips, torn, damaged or stained fabric, carry cases or bags,  polyethylene (PE), polyurethane (PU), faux leather and any other surface material unless an irregularity in workmanship with regards to the above is reported within 48 hours of an item's receipt.
  2. The warranty explicitly excludes damages caused by inclement weather including but not limited to wind, rain storms, snow storms, flooding etc.

7.2         1 Year Limited Manufacturer's Warranty (Applies to MaxAp®, SuperMax®, OnePush®, UltraMax®, Weekender Elite®, Expedition®, Sycamore®, HD Series®, Cypress®, Shade Tech®, Marketplace®, Quik Shade®, Solo Steel®, Shelterlogic®): Products offered with a 1 year limited manufacturer's warranty covers any defects in material or workmanship in new products sold on www.betel.ca provided the product description explicitly offers a 1 year limited manufacturer's warranty.

7.2.1       Warranty Conditions: This limited warranty applies to MaxAp®, SuperMax®, OnePush®, UltraMax®, Weekender Elite®, Expedition®, Sycamore®, HD Series®, Cypress®, Shade Tech®, Marketplace®, Quik Shade®, Solo Steel®, Shelterlogic® products purchased from  Betel.ca. The manufacturer reserves the right to repair, replace, refund or provide replacement or parts subject to warranty coverage, exclusions and availability as considered on a case by case basis. This warranty covers any defects in material or workmanship in all new MaxAp®, SuperMax®, OnePush®, UltraMax®,   Weekender   Elite®, Expedition®, Sycamore®, HD Series®, Cypress®, Shade Tech®, Marketplace®, Quik Shade®, Solo Steel®, Shelterlogic® products (as covered by this warranty). Unless otherwise stated, all products have a 1 year limited warranty that begins on the date of purchase. Refer to Betel Return Policy for details on return options during the warranty period.

7.2.2         Up to 30 days from the date of purchase: If the product received is defective or damaged, at the manufacturer's discretion will provide a pre-paid return shipping label for the defective product to be shipped back to the manufacturer's warehouse or will arrange to have the missing or damaged parts shipped to the buyer within 21business days.

7.2.4        Warranty Exclusions:

  1. Damage that occurs during shipping.
  2. Abuse, accident, alteration, modification, tampering, vandalism, negligence, misuse, abrasive contact, faulty installation, lack of responsible care or if affixed to any attachment not provided with the shelter.
  3. Damage to the contents of shelter, any person or property excluded.
  4. Normal and foreseeable wear and Tear.
  5. Improper installation according to the instructions provided.
  6. Wear of fabric due to acts of nature, i.e. hurricane, tornado, wind, flood, snow, wind-driven debris, etc.
  7. Labour and installation fees. The customer is responsible for all zoning and permits if required.
  8. The warranty explicitly excludes damages caused by inclement weather including but not limited to wind, rainstorms, snow storms, flooding etc.
  9. The warranty explicitly excludes bungee ties, buttons, and velcro strips.

    7.3          2 or 3 year Limited Manufacturer's Warranty (Applies to Zephyr®, Argo®, Brady®, ZenTouch®, Fairlane®, Caribbean®, Roma®, Balboa®, Del ray®, Newport®, Santana®, Montclair®, Supreme®, Carlyle®, Galaxy®, Gibraltar®, Stratomaster air®, Coronado®, SpaMaster®, Phoenix® ): Products offered with a 2 or 3 year limited manufacturer's warranty covers any defects in material or workmanship in new products sold on www.betel.ca provided the product description explicitly offers a 2 or 3 year limited manufacturer's warranty.

    7.3.1     Warranty Conditions: This limited warranty applies to Zephyr®,  Argo®, Brady®, ZenTouch®, Fairlane®, Caribbean®, Roma®, Balboa®, Del ray®, Newport®, Santana®, Montclair®, Supreme®, Carlyle®, Galaxy®, Gibraltar®, Stratomaster air®, Coronado®, SpaMaster®,  Phoenix® products purchased from Betel.ca. The manufacturer reserves the right to repair, replace, refund or provide replacement or parts subject to warranty coverage, exclusions and availability as considered on a case by case basis. This warranty covers any defects in material or workmanship in all new Zephyr®, Argo®, Brady®, ZenTouch®, Fairlane®, Caribbean®, Roma®, Balboa®, Del ray®, Newport®, Santana®, Montclair®, Supreme®, Carlyle®, Galaxy®, Gibraltar®, Stratomaster air®, Coronado®, SpaMaster®, Phoenix® products (as covered by this warranty). Unless otherwise stated, all products have a 2 or 3 year limited warranty that begins on the date of purchase. Refer to Betel Return Policy for details on return options during the warranty period.

    7.3.2      Up to 30 days from the date of purchase: If the product received is defective or damaged, at the manufacturer's discretion will provide a pre-paid return shipping label for the defective product to be shipped back to the manufacturer's warehouse or will arrange to  have the missing or damaged parts shipped to the buyer within 21 business days.

    7.3.3      After 30 days of purchase: For all extended manufacturer warranty claims the buyer must contact the manufacturer directly with MHP claim reference. MHP reference will be available in the receipt that you received with the product. If the buyer requires the MHP reference the buyer must respond to the original confirmation email requesting a claim reference. For all warranty claims after 30 days, the customer is responsible for returning the product back to the manufacturer at the customer's expense to 225 Boulevard Industriel, Chateauguay, QC J6J 4Z2 with return shipping pre-paid.

    7.3.4      Warranty Exclusions:

    1. Damage that occurs during shipping.
    2. Abuse, accident, alteration, modification, tampering, vandalism, negligence, misuse, abrasive contact, faulty installation, lack of responsible care or if affixed to any attachment not provided with the massage table.
    3. Normal and foreseeable wear and Tear.
    4. Damages and injuries resulting from improper use, lack of care and incomplete and improper inspection prior to use.
    5. Wear of fabric due to acts of nature, i.e. hurricane, tornado, wind, flood, snow, wind-driven debris, etc.
    6. Labour and installation fees.
    7. The warranty explicitly excludes zippers, torn, damaged or stained fabric, carry cases or bags, scratched, slashed or faux leather and any other surface material unless an irregularity in workmanship with regards to the above is reported within 30 days of the item's receipt.

      8.0            Return Policy

      All sales are final. If the item is received defective or damaged, Betel Canada must be contacted within 48 hours of receipt of the item to arrange a shipment of a replacement unit or replacement parts where applicable. For items reported as received defective or received damaged, replacements or parts will be shipped in accordance with the applicable product warranty terms and conditions.

      8.1        Return conditions for non defective items: All sales are final. Returns will only be accepted within 14 days subject to the following conditions: (a) The product is unused, unopened and in its original packaging. (b) Seller agrees to accept the return in writing (c) Buyer is fully responsible for return shipping costs. (d) If the item was shipped free when purchased, the applicable shipping costs will be deducted from any refund due. (e) If the buyer paid for shipping separately, such amount will not be refunded. (f) All refunds from returns will be subject to a 20% restocking fee. (g) Return is accompanied by an official Return Authorization Letter provided by the seller. (h) If an item is shipped back to the seller with C.O.D service, or without an official Return Authorization such item will NOT be accepted.

      9.0            Refunds

      All approved refunds will be processed within 3-5 business days. However the payment issuing and acquiring Banks and transaction processing entities such as PayPal®, Interac may take additional days to post transactions back to the buyer’s bank account.

      10.0         Item not as described

      Betel Canada regularly crosscheck item listings against inventory to ensure that items listed on www.betel.ca are described as precisely as possible. Betel Canada warrants that a listed item's description and/or specifications describe an item accurately and the colour is described to the closest secondary colour. In the rare event, a buyer determines that an item delivered is not as described, Betel Canada will accept the item back without penalty, provided all four of the following conditions are met. (a) Buyer requests to return the product on the basis of the above dissimilarity within 5 business days of having the item delivered. (b) Buyer produces evidence that the colour, shape or material of the purchased product is described incorrectly. (c) Buyer produces photographic evidence of the product received. (d) Item has not been used.
